What Sharat Industrie does

Sharat Industries Limited runs an integrated shrimp aquaculture value chain founded in 1990, spanning feed manufacturing, farming and processing. Its Nellore (Andhra Pradesh) feed mill and farm supply captive and third-party farmers, while its processing plant converts Vannamei and Black Tiger shrimp into frozen products (IQF, block-frozen, brine-frozen) that are exported to markets including the US, Russia, China and the EU. A hatchery division exists but has been non-operational in recent years.
