What Droneacharya Aer does
DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations operates DGCA-certified Remote Pilot Training Organisations (RPTOs) that train drone pilots for government, defence and private-sector clients, and supplies drone-based survey, GIS data-processing and drone-as-a-service work to sectors such as oil & gas, forestry and defence. In FY23-24 it set up a manufacturing unit in Pune, Maharashtra to build Make-in-India agricultural spraying drones and FPV (First Person View) defence drones, some of which it supplies directly to Indian defence organisations under tenders. It also holds a 51% stake in PYI Technologies Private Limited, acquired in January 2024, to broaden its drone-technology service offerings.
