AMD Industries makes packaging products used by the beverage industry — crown caps, PET-preforms and plastic closures — manufacturing them at its unit in Neemrana, Rajasthan (commercial production began in 1985; operations at an earlier Ghaziabad, U.P. unit have since been consolidated into Neemrana). The packaging business is seasonal and its fortunes track the growth of its beverage-industry customers. Alongside packaging, the company has diversified into real estate through a related company, AMD Estates & Developers Private Limited, which is developing a commercial complex at Sector-114, Gurgaon, Haryana, in collaboration with VSR Infratech Private Limited, with units already handed over/sold to customers.
