What Andhra Paper Limited does
Andhra Paper Limited is an integrated wood-based paper and pulp manufacturer, and the only paper mill in Andhra Pradesh using virgin pulp. It runs two manufacturing units - Rajahmundry and Kadiyam - making uncoated writing & printing paper, industrial grade papers, copier paper and specialty products such as cup-stock, poster and carbonless paper, sold through a pan-India dealer network and exported to multiple countries. The company sources pulpwood partly through its own farm forestry program and runs captive coal-fired power plants at both units to meet a large share of its energy needs.
