What West Coast Paper Mills Limited does

West Coast Paper Mills is one of India's oldest and largest integrated pulp-to-paper manufacturers, running a single-location paper and paperboard complex at Dandeli, Karnataka that includes its own pulp mill and captive power plant. Its Wesco-branded portfolio spans writing and printing paper, business stationery, security paper and packaging boards, sold through a pan-India dealer and zonal-office network as well as export markets. The company has diversified into optical fibre cables and related products (FRP rod cables, glass roving) under the West Coast Optilinks brand from facilities in Mysuru and Hyderabad, and more recently into plywood through the 2024 acquisition of Uniply Décor Limited. It also holds a majority stake in listed subsidiary Andhra Paper Limited, extending its paper manufacturing footprint into Andhra Pradesh.
