Antelopus Selan Energy Limited (formerly Selan Exploration Technology, established 1985) is a private-sector oil and gas exploration & production company, among the first private players to develop discovered oilfields in Gujarat after India opened the sector in 1992. It earns revenue by producing and selling crude oil and natural gas under Production Sharing Contracts and Revenue Sharing Contracts with the Government of India, operating fields in the Cambay Basin (Gujarat) as well as newer onshore and offshore assets in Assam, Andhra Pradesh, and the Mumbai and Mahanadi offshore basins added through its merger with Antelopus Energy Private Limited. Producing fields are complemented by ongoing infield drilling, workovers and a water-injection pilot aimed at extending recovery from mature reservoirs.
