Prabha Energy Limited is an onshore oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) company with a portfolio of Coal Bed Methane (CBM) blocks, marginal gas fields and NELP-awarded exploration blocks across India. It earns revenue by extracting and selling natural gas, led by two CBM blocks in Jharkhand developed in partnership with ONGC, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and Bharat Coking Coal Limited (a Coal India subsidiary) under a public-private partnership model. The company also holds three marginal gas fields in Rajasthan and three NELP blocks in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Gas produced from its blocks is sold at market-linked pricing through pipeline connectivity to India's National Gas Grid.
