Bannari Amman Sugars is a diversified Tamil Nadu agro-industrial group built around integrated sugarcane processing, manufacturing sugar from cane procured from contracted growers. It generates electricity from bagasse-fired co-generation plants and wind mills, consuming this power captively across its sugar units and exporting surplus to the state grid.
