What Bannari Amman Sugars Limited does

Bannari Amman Sugars is a diversified Tamil Nadu agro-industrial group built around integrated sugarcane processing, manufacturing sugar from cane procured from contracted growers. It generates electricity from bagasse-fired co-generation plants and wind mills, consuming this power captively across its sugar units and exporting surplus to the state grid. The company also runs a distillery that converts molasses, a by-product of its own sugar manufacturing, into industrial alcohol, and operates a granite unit that quarries and polishes granite into finished stone products for sale.
