What Shree Renuka Sugars Limited does

Shree Renuka Sugars is an integrated sugar, ethanol and green-power producer, majority-owned by Singapore's Wilmar International. It crushes sugarcane and refines imported raw sugar into plantation-white and refined sugar across mills in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, converts cane by-products (molasses/B-heavy) into fuel ethanol supplied mainly to oil marketing companies, and burns bagasse in co-generation plants to produce renewable power for captive use and grid export. It also sells packaged consumer sugar under the Madhur brand through a pan-India distribution network, and its wholly-owned subsidiary KBK Chem-Engineering executes distillery/EPC projects for external clients.
