Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India Limited is the Indian subsidiary of a global joint venture between Johnson Controls (US) and Hitachi Global Life Solutions (Japan), manufacturing and selling air conditioners under the 'Hitachi Cooling & Heating' brand. Its product range spans residential split and window air conditioners to commercial VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems, packaged/ductable air conditioners and telecom air conditioners, produced at its Kadi manufacturing plant and co-located Global Design Center in Gujarat. It sells through a pan-India network of distributors and modern-retail partners, and also exports into South Asian markets including Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Maldives.
