What Dhanlaxmi Crop Science Limited does
Dhanlaxmi develops, produces, processes and sells seeds for 36 field crops and vegetables, including cotton, wheat, cumin, bajra, maize and okra, combining traditional breeding with biotechnology tools (DNA analysis, ELISA, molecular markers) at its Himmatnagar (Gujarat) R&D and biotech labs. It sources seed production through contractual arrangements with over 45 seed growers/organizers on farmland across 9 Indian states, processes and packages the seed at its Himmatnagar plant, and stores it in ambient and temperature-controlled warehouses before selling through a network of authorized dealers, wholesalers and retailers reached via marketing and C&F warehouses in five states (Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, Telangana and Madhya Pradesh).
