Galaxy Surfactants Limited manufactures performance surfactants and specialty care ingredients (surfactants, emollients, conditioning agents and specialty blends) that are used as raw-material inputs by Home & Personal Care and Beauty & Wellness product makers, including shampoos, soaps, detergents, skin and hair care products and cosmetics. It runs manufacturing plants in India (Taloja, Jhagadia and Tarapur), Egypt and the USA, backed by an in-house R&D centre, pilot plant and product application centre used to co-develop formulations with customers. It sells to MNC customers, regional players and local/niche manufacturers across India, the AMET region (Africa, Middle East, Turkey) and the Rest of the World, and has recently added subsidiaries in Mexico and Europe (Galaxy Specialties Europe B.V., Amsterdam) plus a revived US sales entity (Galaxy Surfactants Americas Inc.) to deepen its international footprint.
