IFB Industries operates two business divisions: Home Appliances, which manufactures and sells IFB-brand washing machines, air conditioners, microwave ovens, refrigerators and dishwashers to Indian consumers, alongside a Commercial Appliances line of institutional laundry and dishwashing equipment for hotels, hospitals and institutions. Its Engineering Division makes precision-engineered metal components -- fine blanking, stamping, chain-sprocket kits and electronics -- supplied mainly to automotive, EV and industrial customers, with plants in Kolkata and Bangalore. The company also runs an after-sales appliance service business through a franchisee network and distributes its IFB Essentials detergent range through retail, modern trade and quick-commerce channels. It was incorporated in 1974 and is headquartered in Kolkata.
