What K.M.Sugar Mills Limited does

K.M. Sugar Mills operates an integrated cane-processing complex at Motinagar, District Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, producing white crystal and raw sugar for domestic and export markets. The distillery division converts by-products into rectified spirit, extra neutral alcohol, ethanol and country liquor, while a bagasse-based co-generation power plant uses cane residue to generate electricity, consuming it captively and selling surplus power to Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL). The company also holds a wholly-owned subsidiary, K M Spirits and Allied Industries Limited, set up to manufacture spirits, though it has yet to commence operations.
