What K P R Mill Ltd does
K.P.R. Mill is a vertically integrated 'fibre-to-fashion' textile and apparel manufacturer that spins cotton and vortex-viscose yarn, knits and processes fabric, and stitches that fabric into readymade knitted garments supplied to garment exporters and international apparel brands. It also runs an integrated sugar, co-generation and ethanol business in Karnataka through subsidiaries K.P.R. Sugar Mill Ltd and KPR Sugar and Apparels Ltd, and sells organic-cotton innerwear, sportswear and athleisure under its own FASO retail brand. Most of the textile operations' power needs are met from the group's own wind, solar and co-generation plants, and it exports finished garments, fabric and yarn to buyers in over 65 countries while also supplying more than 1,500 regular domestic yarn and fabric clients centred on the Tirupur knitwear cluster.
