What Lokesh Machines Limited does

Lokesh Machines designs and manufactures General and Special Purpose Machines (CNC turning centres, vertical machining centres, drill-and-tap centres, boring and milling machines, transfer lines) as well as gantry and robotic automation systems for automotive, railway, aerospace, defence and engineering customers. It also runs an Auto Components and Defence Division that produces cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, connecting rods and forgings for auto OEMs, and manufactures small arms (9x19 machine pistols/SMGs and 7.62x51 LMGs) supplied to the Indian Army, NSG, Assam Rifles and BSF. It is one of India's top five machine-tool manufacturers by market share, particularly in Cam & Crank Borers, Fine Borers and Finish Milling Machines.
