What Mangalam Drugs And Organics Limited does
Mangalam Drugs & Organics manufactures Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), led by Anti-Malarial APIs such as Artemether, Lumefantrine, Artesunate and Amodiaquine Hydrochloride, sold to domestic formulators (Ajanta Pharma, Cipla, IPCA, Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy's) and international clients (Sanofi, Guilin, Mylan, Merck). It has diversified into Anti-Retroviral APIs — Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate is commercialised, with several more molecules under validation or R&D — plus other APIs like Allopurinol, Nimesulide and Bisoprolol Fumarate. Manufacturing runs out of two units in Vapi, Gujarat, backward-integrated into key raw-material intermediates such as Lumefantrine and Sulfadoxine, and supported by an in-house R&D team. In FY25 the company expanded its anti-malaria portfolio with Pyronaridine, backed by WHO pre-qualification and a Medicines for Malaria Venture/Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation collaboration.
