What Sundaram Finance Limited does
Sundaram Finance is a non-banking finance company that lends against cars, commercial vehicles, construction equipment, tractors/farm equipment and used vehicles, alongside commercial lending (leasing, NBFC and SME funding, supply chain financing) and working-capital finance for diesel, insurance and tyre purchases. It also distributes fixed deposits, general and life insurance, home loans, investment services and mutual funds. The company mobilises public deposits and bank/market borrowings to fund its lending book, and operates as the holding entity for a group of subsidiaries and a joint venture covering home finance, asset management and general insurance.
