What Vidya Wires Limited does

Vidya Wires manufactures enameled copper and aluminium winding wires, conductors, strips and busbars used in transformers, electric motors, generators, power-distribution equipment, solar modules and EV motors. It sources copper cathodes and rods from suppliers such as Vedanta, Union Copper Rod LLC and Marubeni, and is backward-integrated to produce its own oxygen-free copper rods in-house. Manufacturing is carried out across units in Anand, Gujarat, together with the newly commissioned ALCU subsidiary facility, and finished products are sold to power & transmission, renewable energy/EV and general industrial customers across 18 countries.
