Jindal Steel Q2 FY27 results (Jul–Sep 2026) and concall

Metals & Mining · Concall AI · Call held 23 Oct 2026

Jindal Steel reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹19,448 crores, helped by a record Q2 sales volume of 2.38 MT and a richer flat-product mix. Adjusted EBITDA was ₹2,504 crores (up 34% YoY), and EBITDA/t was ₹10,529, but both EBITDA and PAT fell from Q1 as coking coal, fuel and freight costs rose. The balance sheet improved: net debt fell to ₹14,786 crores and leverage fell to 1.51x. Management reiterated about 11 MT of production for FY27 and expects record output in Q3 and Q4 as the Angul blast furnace ramps up and the slurry pipeline and captive mines add cost savings.

How to read this

₹ crore, as filed. The percentage beside a figure is the change against the same quarter a year earlier — never the quarter before, which would make every seasonal business look like it collapses and booms each year.
