What Rudra Ecovation does
Rudra Ecovation (formerly Himachal Fibres) runs an integrated PET-waste recycling and manufacturing facility in Ludhiana, Punjab, converting waste PET bottles into PET flakes, recycled polyester staple fibre, spun yarn and filament yarn. It also produces non-woven carpets/fabric and Anaura, an upcycled sustainable fabric sold to fashion, home-furnishing and athleisure brands. Through a 51% stake in Shiva Cottex Private Limited it has entered the recycled bottle-to-bottle (B2B) PET chips and acoustic-panels business, and it has proposed to merge with group company Shiva Texfab Ltd, which separately manufactures staple fibre, filament yarn, spun yarn, Anaura and non-wovens from rPET.
