What Ashika Credit does
Ashika Credit Capital Limited (ACCL) is a Reserve Bank of India-registered, non-deposit-taking NBFC classified as a Middle Layer Investment and Credit Company (NBFC-ICC). It invests in shares and securities across special-situation, long-term, short-term, tactical and opportunistic strategies, and also undertakes derivatives and algorithmic trading and provides inter-corporate and other structured loan facilities to individuals, corporates and financial institutions across India. Through an ongoing group restructuring, it is expanding beyond traditional lending and investing into an integrated financial-services platform spanning broking, institutional equities, global family office services, investment banking, asset management, wealth management, treasury and depository services. Its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ashika Private Equity Advisor Private Limited, is the proposed investment manager for the Ashika Private Equity Trust, a Category II AIF pending SEBI registration.
