Bajaj Finance is a diversified non-bank financial company with a deposit-taking licence, part of the Bajaj group. It lends across consumer, rural, MSME and commercial segments and runs a payments business, earning primarily from interest on loans plus fees and commissions, and heavily cross-sells assets, insurance, payments and deposit products to its existing customer base. Its subsidiaries Bajaj Housing Finance (mortgages) and Bajaj Financial Securities (broking) extend the franchise into home finance and capital markets. It is the largest consumer electronics, digital and lifestyle products lender in India and among the largest personal loan lenders.
