AU Small Finance Bank began in 1996 as a Jaipur-based vehicle-financing company that grew into the NBFC AU Financiers, before receiving a Small Finance Bank license in 2017. It now takes retail deposits and lends across secured retail assets (vehicle/Wheels loans, gold loans, mortgages), commercial banking (MSME, agri, business banking) and inclusive banking (microfinance), alongside credit cards, personal loans and cross-sold insurance and wealth products through its branch network and AU 0101 digital app.
