It was demerged from IIFL Holdings and began operations as a discount brokerage. The company earns mainly through broking commissions and fees on trades placed via its own web, mobile-app, desktop (EXE) and API trading platforms, interest income on client margin funding (MTF), and allied/other income from depository and ancillary services. Client onboarding and servicing are run entirely through digital, paperless workflows rather than a branch or franchisee network.
