Astec LifeSciences manufactures agrochemical active ingredients (technicals), bulk formulations and intermediates, using multi-step synthesis to handle complex chemical reactions. It sells through two business lines: an Enterprise business selling its own technicals/formulations to domestic and export customers, and a Contract Development and Manufacturing (CDMO) business that makes agrochemical products on contract for global crop-protection innovators. It holds a leadership position in triazole fungicides in India and globally, and is a majority-owned subsidiary of Godrej Agrovet Limited (part of the Godrej Group).
