Dhanlaxmi Bank is an old-generation private sector bank headquartered in Thrissur, Kerala, with a branch network concentrated in South India alongside a pan-India presence. It earns primarily through interest income on retail, MSME and corporate lending and investments, supplemented by fee income from deposit accounts, remittances, NRI banking and treasury operations. The bank runs its own network of branches and ATMs/CRMs and also uses business correspondents to extend reach, and it distributes Dhanam-branded deposit and loan products including an NRE savings account for NRIs and digital-receivables-backed term loans.
