What Dish TV India Limited does

Dish TV India provides Direct-to-Home television distribution under a DTH license from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, transmitting satellite-based channel bundles to subscribers via set-top boxes and hybrid smart devices across urban, semi-urban and rural India. It also runs the Watcho OTT app aggregating content from providers such as JioHotstar, Z5 and SonyLIV, and provides Teleport Services to broadcasters. The company earns primarily through subscriber recharges and content packs sold via its distributor-dealer network, and has begun bundling DTH, OTT and broadband services with partner ISPs.
