Fiberweb (India) Limited manufactures spunbond and meltblown nonwoven fabrics at its single plant in Daman, supplying industries such as personal hygiene, medical, agriculture, automotive, textile and technical filtration. It also stitches made-up products — medical/industrial gowns, aprons, car covers and other custom garments — in-house from its own fabric. The company operates as a 100% export-oriented unit (EOU), selling around three-quarters of output to the US, UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the Gulf, and sources its main raw material (polypropylene) largely from ExxonMobil.
