What Pioneer Embroideries Limited does

Pioneer Embroideries Limited (PEL), established in 1991, manufactures Specialty Polyester Filament Yarn (SPFY) under its SILKOLITE brand and embroidered fabrics, laces, sarees and garments under its heritage HAKOBA brand (acquired 2001). SPFY is a dope-dyed (solution-dyed) polyester yarn made at a 26,000 MTPA facility in Kala-Amb, Himachal Pradesh, and is used in carpets, upholstery, apparel and technical textiles. Embroidery and laces such as guipure, braided laces and allover fabrics are made at units in Sarigam, Gujarat and a newer greenfield plant in Degaon, Maharashtra, and are sold domestically as well as exported to over 25 countries. Hakoba also retails embroidered sarees, salwar-kameez-dupatta sets, fashion fabrics and garments through its own website and marketplaces such as Amazon and Myntra.
