What GOCL Corporation Limited does
GOCL Corporation Limited (formerly Gulf Oil Corporation), part of the Hinduja Group, has divested its wholly owned subsidiary IDL Explosives Limited and ceased the Energetics and Commercial Explosives operations it ran for over six decades out of Kukatpally, Hyderabad. The company now runs an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) unit that offers design-to-delivery services - R&D, prototyping, PCB assembly and box builds - for automotive, EV, aerospace & defence, telecom, industrial automation and consumer-electronics customers. It also operates a Special Projects business supplying explosive-based metal-cladding (bonding dissimilar metals such as nickel, copper and titanium to steel) and ordnance components like aircraft canopy severance systems to the Defence and Space sectors. Separately, it is monetising legacy industrial land at Kukatpally and co-developing a mixed-use commercial project in Bengaluru, while a UK subsidiary holds a strategic stake in a London heritage-building redevelopment.
