Industrial Investment Trust Limited (IITL) is registered with the RBI as a Non-Deposit taking, base-layer Non-Banking Financial Company classified as an NBFC-Investment and Credit Company (NBFC-ICC). It operates primarily as a holding company, deploying funds into quoted and unquoted equity shares, mutual fund units, bank fixed deposits, treasury bills and corporate loans, and holding investments in its subsidiaries and other group companies. Its subsidiary, IITL Projects Limited (also listed on BSE), is engaged in real estate development, having built and sold residential flats in the National Capital Region on land parcels allotted under the Builders Residential Scheme of GNIDA, NOIDA and the Yamuna Expressway Authority. During FY25 the group also incorporated IITL Investment Advisors Private Limited to launch an AIF Category II fund in the real estate sector, though this subsidiary had not yet commenced business as of year-end.
