What I T D C does
India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) is a Government of India public sector undertaking, incorporated in 1965 and administered under the Ministry of Tourism, with the President of India responsible for appointing its Managing Director and Board. Its leadership is drawn from backgrounds spanning hotel operations, catering, tourism marketing and hospitality management, reflecting the company's mandate of developing and running tourism and hospitality assets on the government's behalf. The Board includes dedicated functional directors for Finance and for Commercial & Marketing, alongside a government-nominee director and independent directors overseeing operations.
