What Kirloskar Electric Company Limited does

Kirloskar Electric Company manufactures electrical equipment organised into four product groups: transformer and distribution, large machines, low-voltage machines, and power generation. It supplies motors, alternators, generators, transformers and diesel-generator (DG) sets to industrial customers, PSUs and EPC contractors in India and overseas, and is one of the leading Indian manufacturers of motors used in electric vehicles. Products are tailor-made/customised to customer specifications rather than sold off-the-shelf.
