What Reliance Infra. does

Reliance Infrastructure, established in 1929, is a diversified Indian infrastructure group spanning power distribution, urban transport, roads, engineering & construction (E&C) and defence manufacturing. Its Delhi power discoms, BSES Rajdhani Power (BRPL) and BSES Yamuna Power (BYPL), distribute electricity to millions of residential, commercial and industrial consumers across South, West, East and Central Delhi. It also operates Mumbai Metro Line 1 under a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer PPP model, manages a portfolio of toll roads through Special Purpose Vehicles, and executes EPC contracts for thermal, gas, nuclear, metro and highway projects. Through joint ventures with Dassault Aviation, Thales, Rheinmetall AG and Diehl Defence, it manufactures aerospace assemblies, radar/electronic-warfare systems and ammunition for India's defence sector.
