What SpiceJet Limited does

SpiceJet Limited is one of India's leading low-cost airlines, operating scheduled passenger flights on a mixed fleet of Boeing 737 (NG and MAX) narrow-body jets and DHC Q400 turboprop aircraft designed to serve both high-density metro routes and thinner regional destinations. It earns revenue mainly from passenger ticket sales and ancillary services, and is the carrier operating the highest number of flights under the Government of India's UDAN Regional Connectivity Scheme, which links smaller towns to major cities. The airline is IATA-IOSA certified for operational safety and equips most of its fleet with SpiceMax, a wider economy-class seating product. It is registered at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.
