What Zuari Agro Chemicals Limited does
Zuari Agro Chemicals Limited manufactures granulated Single Super Phosphate (SSP), a phosphatic fertiliser, at its plant in Mahad, Maharashtra, importing raw materials for the process. The company previously also operated a larger fertiliser plant in Goa. As of FY25, the company was in the process of divesting the Mahad SSP plant and associated business to MCFL on a slump-sale basis as part of a debt-reduction restructuring.
