What Timex Group does

Timex Group India Limited (TGIL) is a subsidiary of Tanager Group B.V. (formerly Timex Group B.V.) that designs, manufactures and distributes watches and jewelry in India under its own Timex brand and under licensed international brands including Versace, Guess, Nautica, Furla, Ferragamo, Philipp Plein, Gc, Ted Baker, Adidas Originals and UCB. It manufactures watches at its own plant in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, and reaches consumers through a multi-channel network of multi-brand retail counters, large-format stores, Canteen Stores Department (defence canteen) outlets, and its own retail and luxury-retail stores, backed by regional sales offices in Noida, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Chennai. Beyond core analog watches sold under the Timex, Helix and TMX brands, the company has expanded into connected wearables under the iConnect by Timex and Timex Smart sub-brands and operates the Just Watches retail chain for premium and luxury timepieces. It also distributes newer brand tie-ups such as Aston Martin Watches and a Swiss-made Timex Atelier collection.
