Capital India Finance Limited (CIFL) is a credit institution that provides bespoke, asset-backed financial solutions to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through a branch network, primarily via loan-against-property products (Prime LAP and Affordable LAP). It also runs a capital-light, fee-based forex and cross-border remittance business under the "RemitX" brand using its Authorized Dealer (AD II) licence. Separately, CIFL holds a 52.5% stake in fintech subsidiary RapiPay, a PPI-licensed neo-bank/Banking-as-a-Service platform offering digital unsecured business loans, cash-in/cash-out (CICO) services, QR/POS/PPI card payments, and mutual-fund investment distribution through a network of direct business outlets and merchants.
