What Eimco Elecon (India) Limited does
Eimco Elecon designs and manufactures underground mining equipment for both coal and metal mines, including load haul dumpers, side dump loaders, coal haulers, continuous miner packages (continuous miner, shuttle car, feeder breaker, roof bolter), chair lift man riding systems, and newly developed battery-operated multi-utility and passenger vehicles. It also makes construction equipment, focused on piling rigs and articulated wheel loaders for foundation and infrastructure projects. Manufacturing is carried out at a single facility in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, supported by an in-house DSIR-approved R&D centre and a nationwide sales and service network.
