Gateway Distriparks Limited Q1 FY27
What went well
- Market share for the ICD segment is intact despite overall market de-growth due to the war situation.
- Ankleshwar ICD has received initial customs permission and is expected to be operational for EXIM by September, adding to future volumes.
- The company expects to achieve double-digit growth for the fiscal year once the current geopolitical uncertainties clear up.
What to watch
- ICD segment volume was stagnant year-on-year, primarily due to the ongoing war situation and related disruptions.
- DFC connection to JNPT is not yet showing significant cargo shift due to initial bad weather, restrictions, and port congestion at other major ports.
What Gateway Distriparks Limited does
Gateway Distriparks operates a rail-linked multimodal logistics network across India, running Inland Container Depots (ICDs) and Container Freight Stations (CFS) that handle EXIM and domestic containers moving between ports and hinterland industrial zones. Through its subsidiary Snowman Logistics (50.01% stake), the group also runs India's largest integrated temperature-controlled (cold-chain) warehousing and refrigerated transport network serving pharma, e-commerce, quick-service restaurant, dairy and other perishable-goods clients.
