What Om Infra does
Om Infra (formerly Om Metals Infraprojects) designs, manufactures and installs hydro-mechanical equipment such as radial, vertical and stop-log gates, steel liners/penstocks, trash racks, cranes and hoists for hydropower, dam and irrigation projects, and provides turnkey installation, testing, commissioning, and long-term O&M/repair services. It also executes civil EPC works for rural and urban water supply (Jal Jeevan Mission, AMRUT) including pipelines, pump houses, overhead tanks and SCADA automation, and separately develops residential/commercial real estate projects. The company has an in-house manufacturing facility for hydro-mechanical equipment and undertakes projects for government bodies (NHPC, NTPC, SJVN, state water boards) and multilateral agencies like the World Bank.
