Tejas Networks, founded in 2000, is an R&D-driven telecom and networking equipment company that designs, manufactures and sells wireline and wireless network hardware and software - 4G/5G radio access network (RAN) gear, optical transmission (DWDM/OTN) and switching/routing systems, fibre broadband access equipment, and satellite-IoT/broadcast (D2M) solutions. It earns by supplying these products and related network-management software/services to telecom operators, internet service providers, utilities, defense/government networks and enterprises in India and overseas, including large government programmes such as BharatNet and BSNL's 4G/5G rollout.
