What Can Fin Homes Limited does
Can Fin Homes is a housing finance company (HFC) promoted by public-sector lender Canara Bank and regulated by the National Housing Bank, providing home loans as well as non-housing products such as loans against property, personal loans, loans for commercial properties and educational loans. It originates loans through its own branch network, direct sourcing teams and empanelled builder projects under its Advance Processing Facility (APF) tie-ups, and funds this lending book through market borrowings and bank lines. The company earns primarily on the interest-rate spread between what it charges borrowers and its cost of borrowed funds. Its loan book is weighted toward salaried and professional home-loan customers, with housing loans (including commercial real estate-housing) forming the majority of outstanding loans.
