What The Federal Bank Limited does
Federal Bank is a private sector scheduled commercial bank incorporated in 1931 and headquartered in Aluva, Kerala. It takes customer deposits and extends credit across retail lending (housing loans, loans against property, auto loans, personal loans, credit cards and gold loans), business banking, agriculture and allied activities, commercial banking, corporate and institutional banking, and a microfinance-linked lending vertical. The bank also operates a sizeable inward personal-remittance business built on its long-standing relationships with NRI and Gulf-corridor customers, earning interest income on its loan book and fee income from its remittance and card operations.
