What NIBE Limited does

Nibe Limited (formerly Kavita Fabrics Limited) is a Pune-based defence and aerospace manufacturer that produces critical components for defence equipment and develops electro-optics and laser-based systems for India's indigenous defence programmes, operating from its plant in the Chakan Industrial Area (MIDC), Pune. It earns revenue by manufacturing and supplying these defence and aerospace components/systems, and has built out a group structure of subsidiaries and associate companies spanning aeronautics, space and munitions/forging manufacturing. The company has entered manufacturing tie-ups including a licensed-manufacturing agreement with Nivetti Systems Pvt. Ltd. for indigenous switches and routers, and a long-term exclusive agreement with Larsen & Toubro for manufacturing critical defence components. Nibe added an NSE listing in FY2024-25 alongside its pre-existing BSE listing.
