What Schaeffler India Limited does

Schaeffler India is the listed Indian subsidiary of Germany's Schaeffler Group, a global motion-technology company. It designs and manufactures precision bearings, powertrain and chassis components, e-mobility systems, and industrial motion solutions, supplying automotive OEMs (passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, tractors, two-wheelers) as well as industrial customers in railways, renewable energy, raw materials and power transmission. It also runs a vehicle-lifetime aftermarket business, supplying clutch, engine, transmission and chassis repair parts to garages and fleet operators, including through its Koovers aftermarket platform. The company operates its own manufacturing plants, R&D centres and sales offices across India, complementing the parent group's global engineering base built on the INA, LuK, FAG and Vitesco technology lines.
