Tourism Finance Corporation of India Ltd. (TFCI) is an RBI-registered NBFC-ND-ML that originally specialised in project and term financing for hotels, resorts and other hospitality/tourism assets, and has since diversified into secured lending for real estate, infrastructure/social infrastructure, manufacturing, education, healthcare, logistics/warehousing and renewable energy. It also lends to other NBFCs/HFCs/ARCs, offers loan-against-shares financing, and earns fee income from tourism/hospitality advisory, project feasibility studies, debt syndication and special-situation restructuring/advisory mandates. Financing is structured as term loans for greenfield/brownfield projects, expansion, modernisation, working capital, refinancing and takeover of existing loans, including from AIFs/ARCs.
