Under RBI's Scale Based Regulation framework it is categorised as an NBFC-Base Layer entity. The company previously held a wholly-owned housing finance subsidiary, Viji Housing Finance Limited, until the board disposed of that investment on 10th January 2024, after which it ceased to be a subsidiary and the company continued as a standalone lending entity.
