What Computer Age Management Services Limited does
CAMS is a SEBI-registered Registrar and Transfer Agent (RTA) that provides back-office recordkeeping, transaction processing and investor-servicing infrastructure to mutual fund houses (AMCs), acting as the technology and operations backbone connecting AMCs, distributors and investors. Beyond its core MF RTA business, it operates a portfolio of adjacent financial-infrastructure businesses spanning payments, alternative investment fund (AIF) servicing, KYC registration, account aggregation, insurance repository and NPS record-keeping, monetising via fee/volume-based servicing contracts with financial institutions. It is a regulated and accredited intermediary serving over 450 financial institutions across the SEBI, RBI, PFRDA and IRDAI-regulated ecosystems.
